Our
head coach and manager is Mark Daus. We
would like to introduce our awesome travel baseball club, the AZ Heat!! Several
of the families have been together
for almost 3 years and we live in the Northwest Valley of Phoenix. We play an average of 2 tournaments a month
in Arizona and occasionally out of state. Our
travel ball club is an intense upper
level of training and competition both physically and mentally that
carefully prepares young athletes for continued growth in the sport/career of
baseball. Our boys are dedicated team
players, emotional about success, and have been instilled with great values
toward sportsmanship. Our HEAT team/family is also a good bunch of friends that
have fun off the field as well!!
Sponsorships from local businesses help our team throughout the year, and we can't thank you enough. Our team and families benefit from Coach Daus' business that provides jerseys and enough apparel to keep us stylin' through 11 months of tournaments. HEAT
GEAR IS AVAILABLE ANYTIME. Just email Dee Dee: m.daus@cox.net
A WORD FROM OUR "HEAT" FAMILIES: The Rod Rubino Memorial Tournament, was named after one of my very
good friends. Rod was a fantastic guy, great father, and good friend. We
played poker together, golf together, worked together, and coached
together. He died November of '04 from a heart attack. I can't tell you
how much it meant to me personally to have Robby participate in this event,
and then to be able to be a part of the championship game in the tournament
named after Rod was extremely special for me. Thank you all so much for
your efforts during this tournament, and congratulations once again to the
boys for a job extremely well done. Omaha Tournament Impressions Through The Eyes Of
Grandparents. First, we thank the boys, coaches and parents for making us
feel so welcome. We were impressed with the playing ability of the whole team
even though at times a miscue occured. The coaches have taught the boys alot
about sportsmanship and they demonstrated that trait during each game. As in
any sport you must have a strong desire to win and to never give up. The Heat
definitely has that motivation and desire. Lastly, the boys seem to really like
each other and are happy to win no matter who plays well. Proud Grandparents!
The Chism's When your young athlete joins
the AZ HEAT Team you have joined a family that is very enthusiastic
and supportive about travel baseball. The coaches have developed
a program that has earned the team many championships while being respectful of their health
to promote a long career in baseball. This was an outstanding experience, both from a baseball
learning environment, teamwork/bonding, discipline, and overall
winning/success.
